| Beschreibung: | By looking at extracts from literature and film, you will first get to know some historical and contemporary classics, with the main focus on "Fantasy". We will perhaps read and discuss a whole book. Furthermore, a number of these examples will be presented by you. Consequently, this first part will already depend much on your inputs. Afterwards, you are invited to write your own fantastic stories or a course novel. Obviously, your inputs in this second phase of the project are the most important element. If all goes well, the final product of this course will be our own publication of some kind or other. To participate in this course, you should have a good knowledge of English and be rather fluent. If you have already read your Tolkien and some Terry Pratchett (or other Fantasy) it´ll help a lot. This course is aimed at students from year 10 onwards, however, if you are in 9th grade and would really like to join, please contact me before you apply! * See below... |
