Titel:	Sherlock Holmes, the genius detective - An interactive English literature project

Beschreibung:	Arthur Conan Doyle created the famous characters of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson and his stories are still popular all over the world. First we want to explore some of Sherlock Holmes cases and get to know his methods of observation and deduction. In the next step we will develop our own stories using the ideas of real criminal cases from the past. The aim of the course is the display of a story of detection to the audience by using different means of presentation (posters, texts, objects, maybe even short films). Who will be able to solve the mystery? We are going to read stories in English and talk in English as much as possible. But don’t worry about your language skills! You don’t need to understand every word of this text to take part in the course. We want to enjoy the English language and have fun working with crimes and mysteries. Just give it a try!
